Aeora Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 21, 2026 · Applies to the Aeora software for Windows

Aeora is built on one rule: what happens in your family stays on your family's computer. This page explains exactly what that means, and what little we do handle when you buy a license or ask for help.

What Aeora stores, and where

The update check

Once a day the app downloads a small version file from www.xeontech.net to learn whether a newer release exists. This is a plain file download, like loading a web page. It carries no personal information and no usage data.

When you buy a license

To issue your license we receive your email address and payment confirmation. We use them to deliver the license and provide support, and we keep them as the record of your purchase. We do not sell or share customer information with anyone.

When you contact support

Support requests go through email or our ticket portal at xeontech.freshdesk.com, which runs on Freshdesk (Freshworks Inc.). Freshdesk processes the name, email address and message you submit so we can answer you; their handling is described in the Freshworks privacy notice. We only ever see what you choose to send. Aeora never attaches your family's usage data to a ticket; if a diagnostic file would help, we ask first and you export it yourself.

Children's privacy

Aeora is operated by parents and legal guardians. The software shows children their own screen-time information on the family PC, but no child data is ever transmitted to XeonTech, so we collect no personal information from children.

Your rights

Ask what we hold about you (spoiler: at most your purchase record and support tickets), or ask us to correct or delete it, at [email protected].

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with an updated date. We will never quietly add telemetry; local-only is the product, not a setting.
